THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  LAKE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN CITY IN TO ST. JOSEPH MI 5 NM OFFSHORE TO
  MID-LINE OF LAKE....
  MICHIGAN CITY IN TO NEW BUFFALO MI...
  NEW BUFFALO MI TO ST JOSEPH MI...

AT 1131 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 12 NM WEST OF
THE ST. JOSEPH LIGHT TO 54 NM SOUTHWEST OF MICHIGAN CITY...MOVING
EAST AT 30 KNOTS. A LARGE AREA OF RAIN WILL ALSO LINGER BEHIND THE
LINE WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS.

SOUTHEASTERN LAKE MICHIGAN WILL BEING TO BE IMPACTED BY THE LINE
AFTER 1200 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK
SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS. IF THESE STORMS
INTENSIFY...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING MAY BE NEEDED.
