SERVICE CHANGE NOTICE

Subject: Change to flood impact categories on the Little Calumet
River in Cook County, Illinois

Effective June 3, 2024, flood impact categories will change for
Little Calumet River at South Holland (NWS identifier SHLI2). These
changes were coordinated with representatives from the village of
South Holland and Cook County Emergency Management and Regional
Security.

Action Stage will change from 15.0 feet to 12.0 feet, minor flood
stage will change from 16.5 feet to 16.0 feet, moderate flood stage
will change from 18.0 feet to 17.5 feet, and major flood stage will
change from 20.0 feet to 19.5 feet.

Forecast and warning information is available from the
NOAA/NWS Chicago web page at weather.gov/chicago as well as the
National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) web page at water.noaa.gov.
