...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Illinois River at Valley City.

  Illinois River at Hardin.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Illinois River at La Grange LD.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Extensive wetland acreage south of La
  Grange begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 22.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.0 feet
    early Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

  outlets.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Friday morning and continue rising to a crest of 18.0
    feet Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
