The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Monroe County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 300 AM CDT.

* At 219 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Paris, moving
  east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Monroe City, Paris, Santa Fe, Madison, Granville, Woodlawn,
  Holliday, Stoutsville, Duncans Bridge, Florida, and Indian Creek.

This also includes Union Covered Bridge Historic Site and Mark Twain
Lake Recreational Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for central and
northeastern Missouri.
