The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 810 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fisher
  Island, or near Virginia Key, moving northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Miami, Miami Beach, and Fisher Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for southeastern
Florida.
