...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following
county, Vinton.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area.
Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Several roads
remain closed due to high water.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski, Creola and Eagle Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
