  County.

  James River at Galena affecting Stone County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Kansas...

  James River near Boaz affecting Stone and Christian Counties.

  Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

  Little Osage River at Fulton affecting Bourbon County.

  Marmaton River at Fort Scott affecting Bourbon County.

  Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.

  Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair and Vernon Counties.

For the Big Piney River...including Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate...
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the James River...including Galena, Boaz...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Major
flooding is forecast.
For the Marmaton River...including Fort Scott, Nevada...Major
flooding is forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Big Piney  below Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, flood waters affect the lower TA 250
  Training Area and Highway J east of Fort Wood East Gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 5.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 9.8 feet just after
    midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    9.8 feet on 05/16/2020.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Approximate level which floods Hootentown
  Access and Campground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 13.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this morning to a crest of 16.5 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.5 feet on 02/25/2001.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Monday was 11.0 feet.

    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.

  east of Rich Hill in the vicinity of the Bates County Drainage
  Ditch is under several feet of water.

  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Monday was 26.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.8
    feet Wednesday morning.

  forecast.

* WHERE...Marmaton River at Fort Scott.

* IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, all roads leading into the Belltown area,
  north of the Marmaton River are impacted by flood waters, and no
  access is available.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:01 AM CDT Monday the stage was 42.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:01 AM CDT Monday was 47.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this afternoon and continue falling to 10.6 feet Friday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    42.2 feet on 09/14/1961.

  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Marmaton River near Nevada.

* WHEN...Until late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, major flooding occurs at the gage site.
  Flood waters backs up along the White Creek which affects Logan
  Road north of downtown Nevada.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 27.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Monday was 27.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.3
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    31.5 feet on 09/16/1998.

  the I-Beam along the U.S. Highway 71 bridge at the gage site,
  north of Horton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 52.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 AM CDT Monday was 52.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 33.1 feet
    early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:46 AM CDT Monday was 32.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.4
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tonight.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
