This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire weather potential is still possible this evening.
Gusty northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph are beginning to calm and
should remain in the 5-15mph range, and relative humidities
between 25 to 40 percent will improve overnight as well. Once
winds calm and humidities increase, the elevated fire weather risk
will diminish.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated fire weather potential will occur again across portions
of the area on Friday and especially Saturday as gusty
southwesterly winds develop.

There is potential for severe weather Monday into Wednesday of
next week, but confidence in details are low at this time. At the
moment, Monday`s chance for thunderstorms looks to be more
towards
the overnight hours.

Gusty southwesterly winds will develop Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday of next week.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
