This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a low chance (less than 20 percent) of a thunderstorm
through midnight for locations east of a Rolla to West Plains
line. If a thunderstorm forms then large hail and damaging winds
would be the main risks. Most locations will remain dry.

Southwest winds will continue to decrease this evening with
occasional gusts of 25 to 30 mph through midnight. Low humidity
and these gusty winds will continue an elevated fire danger west
of Springfield.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thunderstorm chances return Wednesday night into Thursday. There
is the potential for a strong to severe thunderstorms with this
activity.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
