.DISCUSSION...

A stalled frontal boundary across South Arkansas is starting to
lift back north as a warm front with southerly to southeasterly
winds returning to all fire districts today. 20 ft wind speeds
will generally range between 5-10 mph with higher gusts around
15 mph. With warm air advection prevailing, Gulf moisture will
be quite abundant so minimum RH values should average between
55-60 percent later this afternoon. Maximum mixing heights will
average around 3500 feet this afternoon with fairly good mixing
and dispersion. Similar conditions are expected on Friday with
warm temperatures in the lower to mid 80s for afternoon highs.
