...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PST SATURDAY...

* Surf...5 to 10 feet with sets up to 12 feet. Highest surf north
  of Newport Beach in Orange County and south of Del Mar in San
  Diego County.

* High tides at La Jolla: 5.07 feet at 10:16 AM Saturday.

* Impacts...Large breaking waves, very strong rip currents, waves
  overtopping jetties and coastal rocks and sneaker waves. Very
  dangerous swimming conditions. Minor coastal flooding and beach
  erosion during high tides.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing rip currents, beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.
