WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL. MONTHLY
PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW NORMAL.

NOVEMBER MARKED THE END OF A VERY WARM METEOROLOGICAL FALL SEASON.
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FROM SEPTEMBER 1ST THROUGH NOVEMBER 30TH WAS
60.0 DEGREES...WHICH RANKS AS SECOND WARMEST. IT WAS ALSO THE 5TH
DRIEST METEOROLOGICAL FALL ON RECORD WITH ONLY 4.97 INCHES OF RAIN
OVER THE PAST THREE MONTHS.

DESPITE THE OVERALL DRY CONDITIONS...A RECORD DAILY MAXIMUM RAINFALL
OF 1.31 INCHES WAS SET ON THE 30TH OF NOVEMBER...BREAKING THE OLD
RECORD OF 1.15 INCHES SET IN 1967.

CLIMATE RECORDS AT WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BEGAN IN
NOVEMBER OF 1962.
