.Summary...
Above average temperatures continued into April as well, though the
departures from normal were less than the last few months. The
warmest period was at mid month and the coolest period was in the
third week of the month, when daily temperatures were up to ten
degrees below average at times.

In terms of rainfall, this was the wettest April in several years.
Up until the last week of the month, rainfall was below average.
Nearly half of April 2017`s rainfall occurred in the last five days
of the month.
