Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A slowly declining north swell and moderate to fresh northeast
winds will continue tonight. A strong high pressure system will
build northwest of the area, resulting in strong and gusty
northeast trade winds over the coastal waters beginning Wednesday
into the weekend. A large north swell is expected arrive Wednesday
and continue through Friday.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to
5 feet. North swell 8 to 9 feet. Scattered showers.
.WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to
6 feet. North swell 8 to 9 feet in the morning, building to 12
feet in the afternoon. Scattered showers.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT through FRIDAY...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots.
Wind waves 6 to 10 feet. North swell 12 to 14 feet. Scattered
showers.
.FRIDAY NIGHT through SUNDAY...East winds 20 to 30 knots. Wind
waves 8 to 13 feet. North swell 7 to 10 feet. Scattered showers.
