Florida Bay...Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to
south of Dry Tortugas...and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico...including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height...which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas
1027 AM EST Fri Dec 15 2017

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front across northern Florida this morning will
move southward down the Florida peninsula this afternoon through
Saturday. This cold front will stall over South Florida Saturday
night, before dissipating Sunday. An Atlantic ridge of high
pressure will extend across the Southeastern United States Sunday
night and Monday. This ridge of high pressure will shift southward
Monday night.

The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream current, as of
December 12th, 2017,

50 NM South of Dry Tortugas Light, on Loggerhead Key.
13 NM South of Cosgrove Shoal Light, off the Marquesas Keys.
21 NM South of Sand Key Light, off Key West.
31 NM South of Looe Key, off Big Pine Key.
36 NM South of Sombrero Key Light, off Marathon.
15 NM Southeast of Alligator Reef Light, off Islamorada.
10 NM Southeast of Molasses Reef Light, off Key Largo.
 2 NM East of Carysfort Reef Light, off Ocean Reef.
