...Locally Heavy Rainfall into Tonight...

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will occur into tonight.
Although rainfall amounts in thunderstorms will be quite variable,
the potential exists for 1 to 2 inches through tonight, with locally
higher amounts possible in areas that receive repeated
thunderstorms. This could lead to some ponding of water and
localized flash flooding. In addition, runoff from the rainfall will
lead to rises on area rivers and streams which could lead to minor
river flooding over the next few days.

If you live near a river or stream, monitor water levels closely
and be ready to move to higher ground if flooding materializes.
