HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ELKO NV
201 AM PDT THU MAY 5 2016

...MOUNTAIN STREAMS ARE RUNNING STRONG...

HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO NEAR 80 DEGREES IN SOME PLACES
TODAY WHICH WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASE IN SNOW-MELT. CREEKS AND
STREAMS ARE ALREADY RUNNING STRONG AND WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES
SOME SMALLER MOUNTAIN STREAMS MAY EXCEED BANK-FULL POSSIBLY
CAUSING SOME MINOR FLOODING ISSUES.

THE JARBIDGE RIVER AND LAMOILLE CREEK ARE RESPONDING TO INCREASED
SNOW MELT AND ARE RISING HIGHER EACH EVENING. IF TRAVELING IN THE
BACK-COUNTRY THIS WEEK...BE AWARE THAT SOME DIRT OR GRAVEL
ROADWAYS MAY BECOME IMPASSABLE AT TIMES.
