...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT /11 AM PDT/
TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Idaho and southeast Oregon, including the
following areas, in Idaho, Owyhee Mountains, Southern Twin
Falls County, and Southwest Highlands. In southeast Oregon,
  Harney County and Malheur County.

* from noon MDT /11 AM PDT/ today through this evening.

* Monsoonal moisture from the south will continue to increase
across the watch area today. The increased moisture along with
slow-moving thunderstorms could result in heavy rainfall for
flashing flooding this afternoon and evening.

* Areas most prone to flash flooding include small creeks and
streams in and near the higher terrain, wildfire burn scars,
and normally dry washes. Rock slides and debris/water flows
over roadways are possible. Low lying areas, where some roads
are, will be susceptible to flooding as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
