...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

* THROUGH THIS EVENING

* A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND ABUNDANT GULF MOISTURE
  WILL COMBINE TO CREATE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
  OVERNIGHT AND WELL INTO SUNDAY. RAINFALL WILL BE HEAVY AT
  TIMES AND MAY MOVE REPEATEDLY ACROSS THE SAME AREAS. TWO TO
  FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN TODAY. ADDITIONAL
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES WILL BE LIKELY...WITH
  LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* FLOODING IN LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL BE LIKELY. IN
  ADDITION...CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS MAY OVERFLOW THEIR
  BANKS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
