...FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT 8 PM MST THIS EVENING...

EXPECT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE AREA FOR MUCH
OF THE NIGHT. RAINFALL RATES IN THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS MAY APPROACH
A HALF INCH PER HOUR...HOWEVER...MOST RAINFALL WILL BE BRIEF AND
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE. MUCH OF THE AREA HAS RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT
RAINFALL TODAY AND MANY AREA CREEKS AND WASHES ARE LIKELY RUNNING
HIGHER THAN NORMAL. ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL KEEP THESE TRENDS
INTACT AND MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING IN POORLY DRAINED
AREAS.

HOWEVER...RAINFALL RATES THAT ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LIFE
THREATENING FLASH FLOODS ARE NOT EXPECTED TONIGHT AND THE FLASH
FLOOD WATCH WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.
