URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
Flood Watch
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
314 AM CDT Sat Sep 23 2017

...Flash Flood Watch this afternoon and tonight for Southeast New
Mexico and Culberson county...

.A strong upper trough centered over NV this morning will slowly
wobble east. As it does southwest flow aloft will set up ahead of
it and allow disturbances to track across the region. These
disturbances will help initiate showers and thunderstorms over the
area. The combination of these disturbances along with good low
and mid level moisture will create the potential for heavy rain...
especially with slow moving or training storms... therefore a
Flash Flood Watch has been issued. This watch may be extended in
time or expanded in coverage.
