MEADOW LAKE SOUTH AND WEST TO VALENCIA...LOS LUNAS...UNM VALENCIA
CAMPUS...LA LADERA...MADRONE...AND CASA COLORADO. DRAINAGES THAT
FLOW WEST INTO LOW LYING AREAS WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING
ALONG HIGHWAYS 304...47...314...MANZANO EXPRESSWAY...AND MEADOWLAKE
ROAD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS. MANY
FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
