...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN COTTON COUNTY...

AT 317 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE
BACK INTO THE WARNED AREA BY 4 AM. AT LEAST 3 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN
HAVE FALLEN SINCE 7 PM WEDNESDAY EVENING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
COOKIETOWN AND RURAL NORTHWESTERN COTTON COUNTY.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...DEEP RED CREEK...
WEST CACHE CREEK...SANATAG CREEK AND RED RIVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
