THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BROWNSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN KENEDY COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS...

* UNTIL 630 AM CDT

* AT 451 AM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED A LARGE AREA OF THREE
TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 200 AM IN SOUTHERN KENEDY COUNTY. LOCAL
MAXIMUMS NEAR NORIAS ARE AS HIGH AS SIX TO SEVEN INCHES OF RAIN.
THIS WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT WATER RISES IN SOUTHERN KENEDY COUNTY
AND MAY RESULT IN DANGEROUS FLOWING WATER OVER HIGHWAY 77 NEAR
NORIAS AND ARMSTRONG.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE NORIAS AND HIGHWAY 77.

THIS IS A LIFE THREATENING FLOOD! MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN
AUTOMOBILES. STAY HOME. IF TRAVELING...DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS
OR STREAMS. WHEN NEARING A FLOOD AREA...TURN AROUND AND DRIVE TO
HIGHER TERRAIN.
