The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Preston County in northeastern West Virginia...
  Northeastern Marion County in northern West Virginia...
  Northeastern Monongalia County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 1230 AM EDT.

* At 1107 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rain had largely
  ended over the warning area.  Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain
  have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue with ongoing runoff,
  but no additional rainfall is expected.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Morgantown, Westover, Star City, Granville, Fairview, Brookhaven,
  Cassville, Rivesville, Grant Town, Reedsville, Masontown,
  Albright, Bruceton Mills, Cheat Lake, Booth, Laurel Run, Osage,
  Everettville, Georgetown and Valley Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
