THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  WESTERN COCHISE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...WILLCOX...SIERRA VISTA...BISBEE...
  SOUTHWESTERN GRAHAM COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...

* UNTIL 1030 AM MST

* AT 823 AM MST...SHOWERS WITH MODERATE RAINFALL ACROSS WESTERN
COCHISE AND SOUTHWESTERN GRAHAM HAS PRODUCED 0.75 TO 1.25 INCHES OF
RAIN IN THE VALLEYS WITH 1.50 TO 1.75 INCHES IN THE HUACHUCA AND
DRAGOON MOUNTAINS. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL OCCUR ALONG A LINE
FROM PALOMINAS...TO TOMBSTONE...TO THE DRAGOON MOUNTAINS. ALTHOUGH
INDIVIDUAL STORMS ARE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH...SHOWERS
CONTINUE TO DEVELOP TO THE SOUTH AND MOVE OVER THOSE AREAS THAT HAVE
ALREADY RECEIVED HEAVY RAINFALL INCREASING THE THREAT OF MINOR FLOODING.

RAINFALL RUNOFF WILL RESULT IN WATER FLOWING IN NORMALLY DRY
CREEKS...WASHES...AND ROADWAYS DIPS. SIGNIFICANT PONDING OF WATER IS
LIKELY IN LOW LYING AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS IN
WASHES AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
