...A FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM
MDT TUESDAY FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MEADE COUNTY...

AT 847 PM MDT...REPORTING GAUGES INDICATED FLOODING ACROSS THE
WARNED AREA. MINOR FLOODING WAS OCCURRING ON ELK CREEK AT THE ELK
VALE ROAD GAGE...AND IT WAS BEGINNING TO FALL THIS EVENING. THE
FLOOD WATERS WILL MOVE DOWNSTREAM AND CAUSE MINOR FLOODING ON ELK
CREEK TO THE CHEYENNE RIVER.

THIS FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
MEADE COUNTY NEAR ELK CREEK FROM ELK VALE ROAD TO THE CHEYENNE RIVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO
HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
