and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC

.DISCUSSION...
Widespread dense fog across much of the region will be
slow to burn off but should clear by late morning. A cold
front will cross the region this morning with high pressure
building over the area through Thursday.

Areas of drizzle possible this morning, otherwise dry
weather expected. Drier air will move over the area but
min RH values still expected to be around 40 percent today
and Thursday. Surface winds will be from the north to
northeast. Transport winds will be from the north to northeast
around 10 mph. Fog not expected Thursday morning due to a
strong low level jet.
