.DISCUSSION...A strong ridge of high pressure is beginning an
extensive amplifying trend which will create dry weather and
warming temperatures through the extended forecast. Northerly
winds will increase today, becoming windy in the afternoon.
Interior ridgetop N to NE winds will increase tonight and into
Thursday. These winds will be strongest over the highest ridges of
far southern portions of zone 283, eastern zone 277, and 264
where strong gusts over 50 mph can be expected tonight through
Thursday morning. Minimum RH values will drop to the low 20s to
upper teens in these zones through that period. The warmest
interior valleys will reach the upper 80s with some low 90s late
in the week and at least through the weekend.
