FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
436 AM CDT TUE OCT 21 2014

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAK REINFORCING COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH SOUTHWARD
ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...BRINGING A GUSTY NORTHWEST WIND AND
LOWER DEWPOINTS TO THE REGION BY THIS AFTERNOON. A TRANQUIL
WEATHER PATTERN FEATURING SUNNY DAYS AND CLEAR NIGHTS WILL
PREVAIL THROUGH WEDNESDAY...WITH MINIMUM AFTERNOON RH VALUES
IN THE 35-40 PERCENT RANGE. ALTHOUGH DISPERSION INDICES WILL
BE IN THE GOOD CATEGORY TODAY...THEY WILL LIKELY DECLINE ON
TUESDAY AS MIXING HEIGHTS FALL TO AROUND 3500 FT. SEASONABLY
COOL AND DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE END
OF THE WORK WEEK...WITH A GRADUAL WARMING TREND EXPECTED THIS
WEEKEND.
