FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
303 PM CDT WED JUL 23 2014

.DISCUSSION...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY. MIXING HEIGHTS
AROUND 4000 FEET ARE EXPECTED WITH LIGHT WINDS. THIS WILL KEEP
DISPERSION INDEX VALUES FAIR. WINDS WILL REMAIN LIGHT AS MIXING
HEIGHTS SHOULD INCREASE BEHIND THE FRONT ON TUESDAY AS DRIER
AIR PUSHED INTO THE AREA. DISPERSION INDEX VALUES SHOULD IMPROVE
SLIGHTLY ON FRIDAY.
