FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
211 PM CST FRI NOV 28 2014

.DISCUSSION...
DRY WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED FOR THIS WEEKEND ALTHOUGH A RAPID WARM UP
WILL BEGIN ON SATURDAY WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES LIKELY REACHING THE
60S AT MOST LOCATIONS IN NORTHERN ALABAMA. WINDS WILL GRADUALLY
INCREASE IN SPEED TODAY BUT WILL INCREASE SUBSTANTIALLY TOMORROW
WITH SOME GUSTS AROUND 15-20 MPH DEVELOPING DURING THE LATE
MORNING AND CONTINUING INTO THE AFTERNOON. MIXING HEIGHTS FOR
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WILL BE PARTIALLY DEPENDENT ON THE AMOUNT OF
LOW CLOUD COVER THAT DEVELOPS. VALUES BELOW WERE FORECAST WITH THE
ANTICIPATION FOR RELATIVELY HIGH AMOUNTS OF CLOUDS. HOWEVER...IF
SUBSTANTIAL BREAKS APPEAR IN THE CLOUD LAYER THEN MIXING HEIGHTS
WILL BE HIGHER. CHANCES FOR RAIN WILL RETURN TO THE AREA ON MONDAY.
