Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
209 AM CST Tue Jan 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...

The upper level system that brought the rainfall to the area
yesterday will track to the north today. This will keep winds
breezy W/SW winds in the forecast for much of the day. Expect
winds to become more NW late this evening as a dry front moves
across the area. Min RH values stay up today due to the cooler
temps forecast. It won`t be until Thu/Fri do we see min RHs drop
down to 30-40 percent. An inversion aloft will keep mixing heights
below 4,000 feet through Friday. Then as winds switch to the south
and moisture starts to return we`ll see heights increase. Next
rain chances arrive over the weekend with mainly showers forecast
at this time.

Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
