Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
415 AM CDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Dense fog that is occurring over portions of Northeast Arkansas,
the Missouri Bootheel, and Northwest Tennessee will begin to
lift during the morning hours. Otherwise, light northerly winds
will bring drier conditions to much of the Mid-South. The one
exception will be for areas south of a Clarksdale to Tupelo,
Mississippi line as isolated showers and thunderstorms may
occur today along a stalled front that will be located across
Central Mississippi.

The front will begin to lift northward tonight as a warm front.
The front will push north of the Mid-South by Wednesday morning
allowing for winds to turn back around to the south. The
winds may be gusty at times. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
may occur along and ahead of the warm front tonight into
Wednesday morning.
