AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE EASTERN U.S. OVER
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THIS WILL KEEP THE MID SOUTH IN NORTHWEST
FLOW ALOFT ALLOWING A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES TO MOVE
THROUGH THE REGION. COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN
SECTIONS OF THE REGION TONIGHT. A COLD FRONT SHOULD STALL ACROSS
THE REGION THROUGH MID WEEK AND BECOME THE FOCUS FOR ADDITIONAL
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. ONE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE REGION WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY WITH SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ALONG AND WEST OF THE COLD
