.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered thunderstorm coverage is expected
this afternoon and evening across inland areas. The focus for thunderstorms
should be from the Siskiyous and western slopes of the Cascades eastward.
However, isolated to scattered storms are also expected over western
valleys in Jackson and eastern Josephine county as well into western
and central Siskiyou county. In addition, gusty west winds are developing
this afternoon as the system moves through with strongest winds expected
east of the Cascades, especially Modoc County. Relatively mild and quieter
weather is expected Tuesday through late this week.
