FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
238 PM CST SAT JAN 24 2015

.DISCUSSION...
SYSTEM WHICH BROUGHT THE RAIN AND THEN SNOW TO THE AREA LAST NIGHT
IS NOW LOCATED WELL EAST OF THE MID STATE. AFTER AN UPCOMING
MOSTLY CLEAR NIGHT...CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE AGAIN TOMORROW
AS UN UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE DIVES TOWARD THE AREA. THIS FEATURE
WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE ON SUNDAY
NIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT IN RAIN RETURNING TO THE AREA BY SUNDAY
AFTERNOON. THEN...ANOTHER ROUND OF RAIN AND SNOW BY LATE SUNDAY
NIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY.

AFTER THE SUN NT/MON SYSTEM EXITS...HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING WILL
BUILD TOWARD THE AREA. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR MILD AND DRY WEATHER
THROUGH MID WEEK. A CHANCE OF RAIN WILL RETURN ON THURSDAY AS THE
RIDGE FLATTENS AND THEN ANOTHER SHORTWAVE MOVES OUR WAY.
