Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
323 AM MST Sun Aug 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorm chances increase across Arizona today as monsoon
moisture moves into our area. The best chance (20-30%) of storms
will remain in the higher elevations while the lower deserts will
only see a slight chance (~10%). Very similar conditions are
expected for Monday. Winds will remain relatively light each day
(except near thunderstorms) while temperatures will stay near
seasonal normals. Relative humidity will bottom out between 30-35%
for the higher terrain of Gila County during the afternoons and
between 15-20% for the lower deserts.

...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...
