FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
341 AM CDT FRI JUL 29 2016

RED FLAG...NONE.

.DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS EASTERN OKALHOMA AND
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS TODAY AS A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY HOLDS OVER THE
REGION AND AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH THE PLAINS.
LOCALLY STRONG WINDS AND PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITHIN ANY THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT. OVERNIGHT
TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY...THUNDERSTORM CHANCES REMAIN POSSIBLE AS
ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX LOOKS TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. THE
FRONTAL BOUNDARY IS FORECAST TO RETREAT NORTHWARD SUNDAY AS HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS BACK OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. THIS SHOULD TAPER
OFF PRECIPITATION CHANCES SUNDAY WITH THE DEPARTING FRONT. FIRE
WEATHER DANGERS TODAY INTO THE WEEKEND SHOULD REMAIN LOW.
