OF THE REGION LATE WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. ADDITIONAL STORM
SYSTEMS WILL KEEP ACTIVE WEATHER GOING WELL INTO NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE DRY WEATHER THROUGH WEDNESDAY. FOR
WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY NEXR WEEK...A STRONG PACIFIC JET
STREAM WILL DIRECT A SERIES OF STORMS THROUGH CALIFORNIA WITH
PERIODS OF WETTING PRECIPITATION...HEAVY AT TIMES...AND STRONG GUSTY
WINDS. AT PRESENT...THE STRONGER STORMS ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY...AND
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE DESERT
SOUTHWEST TODAY RESULTING IN A CONTINUATION OF THE RELATIVELY MOIST
CONDITIONS. A STEADY WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE AS WELL, THOUGH
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW NORMAL. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING ACROSS
THE REGION WEDNESDAY WILL BRING SOMEWHAT DRIER CONDITIONS,
PARTICULARLY ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA.
