DISCUSSION...
A DISTURBANCE EVIDENT ON VISIBLE SATELLITE IMAGERY WILL BE A FOCUS
FOR THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT TODAY AS IT DROPS SLOWLY SOUTHWARD
OUT OF COLORADO. TRUSTED MESOSCALE MODELS SUGGEST CLUSTERS AND
MAYBE A LINE OF SOAKING STORMS WILL MOVE SLOWLY SOUTHWARD ACROSS
THE BURN AREA WITH A GUSTY WIND SHIFT OUT OF THE NORTH DURING THE
MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. SOME STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCE VERY
HEAVY RAIN AT A RATE OVER 1 INCH PER HALF HOUR. THE CHANCE FOR
SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL PERSIST TONIGHT. ANOTHER CROP OF WETTING
THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED SATURDAY...AND THESE SHOULD MOVE FROM
WEST TO EAST AT 10-15 MPH.
