.DISCUSSION...

WEATHER...A series of lows moving to Prince William Sound will bring
a chance of snow through Wednesday. Northerly winds will prevail through
tonight then increase out of the south on Wednesday as colder air moves
up Cook Inlet. Looking further out in time, a much stronger storm system
in on the way for later in the week with strong northerly winds (35 mph
or higher) possible by Thursday afternoon.

SEA ICE...Please note that the sea ice conditions in Cook Inlet change
significantly with the tides.

All Sea Ice values based on most recent satellite imagery (254pm on 3/28)
for location 60.7764N 151.434W.

Ice Concentration: 6 to 8 tenths ice coverage.
Ice Form: Ice currently in strips and belts being pulled by the currents.
Ice Stage: First year Ice (>30cm thick) and Young Ice (10-30cm thick).
