Spot Forecast for Ridge Fire...Boulder Mountain Fire

Service.

.DISCUSSION...A spring storm system will move into the Central
Rockies this afternoon. Partly cloudy skies over the burn area
will become increasingly cloudy through the afternoon, with rain
showers developing toward mid to late afternoon. They will become
more numerous this evening, and there is just a slight chance of a
thunderstorm between 3 PM and 10 PM. Winds are expected to remain
on the light side, and mostly from the southeast today.  However,
variable winds with a few gusts to around 25 mph will be possible
near the showers and any storms this afternoon and early evening.
Humidities will be higher with cooler temperatures today, and light
winds will limit smoke dispersion.

.REST OF TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy(50-60%) until 1100, then mostly
                    cloudy. Slight chance of thunderstorms after
                    1300. chance of rain showers after 1300 until
                    1600, then rain showers likely.
CWR.................5 percent increasing to 55 percent.
LAL.................1 until 1300, then 2.
Max temperature.....Around 56.
Min humidity........40%.
Wind (20 ft)........Southeast winds 6-7 mph until 1500, then northwest
                    5-6 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms after 1300.
Mixing height.......5000-6000 ft AGL until 1100, then 7000-8000 ft
                    AGL until 1500, then 4400-5400 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....Southeast 10-15 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor until 1100, then fair until 1400, then
                    poor.
