.DISCUSSION...
A SHALLOW MARINE LAYER WILL PERSIST ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST
THROUGH THE NEXT 24 HOURS, LIKELY DEEPENING BY APPROXIMATELY 500
FEET TONIGHT AS A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES OVERHEAD. AS
SUCH, THE CRASH SITE WILL REMAIN VERY CLOSE TO THE INTERFACE
BETWEEN THE COOL, MOIST MARINE AIR AND THE HOT, DRY INLAND AIR.
FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY, WESTERLY ONSHORE FLOW WILL DEEPEN
AND SPREAD INLAND, AND GUSTY EASTERLY WINDS ALONG THE TALLER
RIDGES IN THE AREA WILL DIMINISH AND TURN TO THE NORTHWEST. EXPECT
WESTERLY WIND SPEEDS OF AROUND 5 TO 10 MPH IN THE VALLEYS, WITH
OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO AROUND 15 MPH ON TALLER RIDGES TODAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 10 DEGREES WARMER THAN
READINGS SEEN ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST, REACHING INTO THE LOW TO
MID 70S. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL BE SOMEWHAT MODERATED BY THE
MARINE AIR, FALLING TO AROUND 45 TO 55 PERCENT TODAY.

OVERNIGHT, GUSTY OFFSHORE EASTERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP AGAIN ALONG
THE RIDGES, LIKELY TO AROUND 15 TO 20 MPH, WITH LIGHT AND
VARIABLE WINDS IN THE VALLEYS. EXPECT GOOD HUMIDITY RECOVERIES IN
THE VALLEYS, WITH MODERATE TO POOR RECOVERIES ALONG THE NEARBY
TALLER RIDGES. LOW CLOUDS AND FOG WILL LIKELY MOVE INTO OR VERY
NEAR THE CRASH SITE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.
