.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and
move across the area today. Development at the burn site may
occur at any time. The best chances for rain will be between
ignition time and 4 PM. With the coverage of rain being rather
scattered and occasional passing showers being the rule, this
makes the forecast too uncertain to be more precise in the
timing. Rain chances should decrease somewhat by this evening, but
isolated to widely scattered showers will persist through the
overnight hours and into Tuesday. More organized thunderstorms are
expected Tuesday night and into Wednesday ahead of a cold front.
20 foot winds will remain southerly until the front moves through
on Wednesday. Low clouds below 1000 feet Tuesday morning. Patchy
fog will also be possible at the burn site, especially if any rain
does occur.
