.DISCUSSION...

Humid conditions will prevail through today with gusty south to
southeast winds across the fire area. There is a chance for an
isolated light shower this morning, and isolated to scattered
thunderstorms this afternoon. Any storms that develop this
afternoon would quickly intensify and cause gusty winds, and
possibly some large hail. Tonight, a line of thunderstorms is
expected to form near or just west of the fire area, then move
east through eastern Irion County after 10 PM. Drier weather,
and gusty west/southwest winds will move in on Wednesday behind
the thunderstorms.

.TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Slight chance of
                    showers and thunderstorms in the morning.
                    Chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
LAL.................No Tstms until 0700, then 1-8 strikes until
                    1300, then 9-15 strikes.
Max temperature.....Around 80.
Min humidity........54 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........South winds 12 to 16 mph. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near thunderstorms.
Haines Index........3 to 4 or very low potential for large plume
