THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH ALABAMA AND PORTIONS
OF SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

INCREASING HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES RANGING
FROM 95 TO 100 DEGREES TODAY ALONG WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF BRIEF GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES RANGING
FROM 95 TO 100 DEGREES ON MONDAY AS WELL. IN ADDITION...AN UNSETTLED
WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON MONDAY...AS A STRONG COLD
FRONT SETTLES INTO THE REGION. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS...SOME
STRONG TO LOCALLY SEVERE...WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY AFTERNOON AND
AGAIN ON TUESDAY AS THE FRONT DRIFTS SOUTHWARD. THE MAIN THREATS WITH
THESE STORMS WILL BE BRIEF DAMAGING WIND GUSTS...LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND SMALL HAIL.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO EXPECTED BETWEEN FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY...AS A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVE ACROSS THE
REGION. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL.
