THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT. AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL
CONTINUE TO REACH 100 TO 108 DEGREES. REFER TO THE HEAT ADVISORY
PRODUCT FOR MORE DETAILS.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST...MAINLY EAST OF
THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE MAIN HAZARDS WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE
HEAVY RAIN...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. A FEW
STORMS COULD PRODUCE ISOLATED WIND DAMAGE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY. AFTERNOON
HEAT INDICES WILL CONTINUE TO REACH 100 TO 108 DEGREES SUNDAY AND
MONDAY. SLIGHTLY LOWER HEAT INDICES AROUND 100 DEGREES ARE
EXPECTED TUESDAY.

SMALL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST IN THE HEAT OF THE
AFTERNOONS SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...AND IN ASSOCIATION WITH A
COLD FRONT THAT WILL TRY TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THURSDAY OR
FRIDAY. A STRAY STORM COULD BRIEFLY PULSE UP TO NEAR SEVERE LEVELS
IN THE HEAT OF THE DAY...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL BE
THE MAIN CONCERNS.
