NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS FROM VERMILION OH TO RIPLEY NY...

AT 845 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS WITH
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHEAST ACROSS LAKE ERIE. A GUST
FRONT MAY ADVANCE OUT AHEAD OF THESE SHOWERS WITH NORTH TO NORTHWEST
WINDS GUSTING UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE
LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 15 NM NORTH OF ASHTABULA TO 7 NM
NORTH OF AVON POINT...MOVING EAST AT 30 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND SCATTERED LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE
