  LAKE MICHIGAN FROM SEUL CHOIX POINT TO ROCK ISLAND PASSAGE 5NM
  OFFSHORE TO MID LAKE...
  SEUL CHOIX POINT TO POINT DETOUR MI...

AT 536 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY
RAIN. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
24 NM WEST OF MINNEAPOLIS SHOAL TO 18 NM EAST OF WHITEFISH
POINT...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 KNOTS. THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT THE
BAY OF GREEN BAY AND NORTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN THROUGH 8 AM EDT.
ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS NEAR GREEN BAY WISCONSIN WILL ARRIVE
BETWEEN 7 AM AND 9 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. IF THE STORMS
STRENGTHEN...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED. IF
POSSIBLE, BOATERS OVER THE WATERS THIS MORNING SHOULD CONSIDER
HEADING FOR SHORE BEFORE THESE STORMS ARRIVE.
