...INCREASING EASTERLY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

.HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS OVER SOUTHEAST ONTARIO CANADA, ALONG WITH
AN APPROACHING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE CENTERED OVER WESTERN NORTH
DAKOTA. THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL TIGHTEN OVER THE
NORTHLAND, RESULTING IN STRENGTHENING EASTERLY WINDS AND BUILDING
WAVES OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS. THE FAVORABLE FETCH ALSO ADDS TO
THE CONFIDENCE IN STRONGER WIND GUSTS REACHING CRITERIA HAZARDOUS
TO SMALL CRAFT.
