.GUSTY WEST WINDS DUE TO A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT IN THE WAKE OF
A PASSING COLD FRONT WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL
CRAFT. WINDS WILL BECOME GUSTY THIS MORNING AND CARRY INTO THE
EVENING.

TO 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...BECOMING WEST 15 TO 25 KNOTS THIS MORNING...WITH A FEW
  GUSTS UP TO 30 KNOTS. THE HIGHEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED IN THE
  EARLY TO MID-AFTERNOON OVER THE BAY AND NEAR THE LAKE MICHIGAN
  COAST.

* WAVES...WITH OFFSHORE WINDS...WAVES OF 1 TO 3 FT ARE EXPECTED. A
  FEW WAVES TO 4 FT ARE POSSIBLE ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE BAY
  THIS AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
