.NOW...
At 7 am...Vandenberg Doppler radar was showing an area of enhanced
rainfall and Santa Maria Airport recently picked up one half inch
of rain in the last hour. Radar was showing the burst of heavier
rainfall moving into the eastern portions of San Luis Obispo
county. Motorists traveling on the 101 freeway and highway 1 in
the vicinity of Lompoc and Santa Maria should slow down and
exercise caution. Expect the ponding of water on roads which can
result in hydroplaning and hazardous driving conditions for the
next couple of hours.
