The leading edge of an area of light rain with embedded showers
and thunderstorms extended from Winters to Maryneal to Sterling
City and south to Ozona and Sonora. This area of precipitation was
moving north at 25 mph. The rain should continue to spread north
towards Sweetwater, Rotan and Hamlin and communities mainly along
and west of a line from Stamford to Abilene through the early
afternoon. Rainfall amounts in the heavier showers will range
about an inch per 2 hours, but most areas will see less than a
tenth. Watch out for lightning.
